Feeling Peacocky

Yesterday, was payday so I felt like going shopping. One thing I was always taught as a child, was to never leave the house without looking your best you never know who you may run into. So anyway for this look I used a few products, and a new way of putting on my foundation.

First you apply Milk of Magnesia, don’t look like that. This helpful tool that you have in your bathroom, is better than any oil control lotion you may have. It leaves my skin oil free allllll day long. Just dab a small amount maybe the size of a nickel on a brush or cottonball. Then dab it across your face, and let it dry for about 3 minutes. Then move on to the foundation.

my homemade BB cream

Face:
NW45 Studio Fix Fluid
Elf Primer (Couldn’t find my go to primer)
Ambi Moisturiser
Nars Taj Mahl
Mac Coopertone
Covergirl Ebony Bronze
Ben Nye Banana and Chestnut powders

(Mix equal parts of foundation, primer, and moisturiser together then apply to skin, Light blubs went off sunddenly and I had a thought while doing this this is bascially what BB creams are)

Before I applied my eyeshadow I fixed up my brows.

Brows:
Spiked brow penicil
NW40 and NW 45 concealer
Spoolie

Filled in with Spiked brow pencil, cleaned up the bottom brow with NW 40 (which also worked as my highlight color), and then cleaned up the top part of the brow with NW45.You then run the spoolie through the brow to give it a more natural look.

Now on the eyeshadows!!

Eyes:
Maybelline color tattoos Tenacious Teal and Blue on By
Milani Blue my mind
Mac Steamy
Mac Texture
Mac Deep Truth
Milani Aqua eyeliner
Mac Zoomlash Black

After that was done, I then applied my concealer (NW40) under my eye in a triangle shape, down the bridge of my nose, the middle of my forehead, and on my cupids bow. I then applied Ben Nye banana powder to all the areas I applied concealer and brushed the excess away. Contoured with Covergirl queen collection bronzer in Ebony Bronze. I blended the areas out and applied Chestnut powder to the rest of my face to bring back some color. The finihsed look will be posted below.
