So if you have read my about me section you will see that I have been natural for a little over a year now. I got my last relaxer in January and cut it off July 26 2011.

There wasn’t any real reason I decided to go natural other than the fact that I told myself I would do it at 25. I am not one of those naturals who criticize people who relax or color their hair. You do what is best for your hair and thats it. After being natural for year, I think that THIS is the best thing I could have possibly done for myself. I want to be able to have kids and not have them look at mommy and say why is your hair different from mine. My hair now is a little over 7 inches all around. I don’t have some strict regimn, I probably should but usually I am so tired from work (12hr shifts) I don’t want to do anything to my hair other than throw a bonnet on.
